Landscape and Portrait layout charging support
The Tylt Vu-Wireless charger is easy to look at as it has a very ergonomic design. It is small and lightweight. Portable enough to carry in any type of bag, although it does not fold flat. The stand design is very artistic in appearance and complimented my wife’s decor just fine.
Although it is made of plastic, it’s a very sturdy and strong product. The charging area has a rubbery grip material that keeps your phone from slipping all over the place, which is a plus.
The Vu- Wireless charger is a very well thought out product, and the build quality is very good. The stand is sturdy and strong, well balanced and very easy to setup. The best part is you can charge your device in either portrait or landscape mode and get full charge power in both configurations.
Obviously dependent on your device layout, your ports may not be accessible in portrait layout. However, since you can charge in landscape as well you should be able to access your ports easily. l have a Note 3 so my ports are easy to access.
FITTING And REMOVING
Simply drop the device on the charger and go. lt really is that easy. The Vu- Wireless charger is compatible with all Qi charging capable phones and backdoor panels. Once you drop the phone on the charge, a small LED light on the bottom of the charger turns green to let you know it’s charging. If the light turns red, there is an error, which I haven’t had yet. The charge time is fast, as fast as the cable charger in fact. Once the device reaches 100% it idly charges to maintain 100% without overcharging the device. When it is complete you simply pick the device up and it is done charging, and the charger goes in standby until in use again.
As with all wireless chargers, price is a factor in making the choice of which one to go with. However, with the compatibility and ease of use with this charger the $69 price tag is really affordable. It is also available in more than one color. My review unit is black, but there are blue, red, and a neon yellow color available as well for the same price. For Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, and Note 3 Tylt sells the Vu-Mate wireless charging receiving card for $20 so that you can get all the wireless charging goodness for those devices. This added no bulk at all to the device and gave me full wireless charging capability.

Overall, this is one of the best designed and easy to use wireless chargers I have run across, and although the price point is high I find that it is quite worth it to go wire free and have the ease of use with charging your device.
