When it comes to streaming apps outside the major stream providers like Netflix and Hulu very few get it right. For as long as I can remember Sky TV have struggled to get the Sky Go app working outside a handful of handsets which has led to nothing but frustration for paying customers.
It would seem, if the press release below is anything to be believed, that Virgin TV have managed to sort their Virgin TV Anywhere app to work on all KitKat devices which is a leap forward for the company.
We would be very interested to hear though if the app works on rooted handsets and if it works on devices which run ROM’s with 4.4.
