Jawbone announced the Up 3 and Up Move activity trackers today. These new trackers promise to keep tabs on your fitness goals, health, weight loss and more.
The Up 3 consists of a multi-sensor wearable which focuses on your biometric data. This is a wrist worn affair similar to the other wristable Jawbone offerings. While wearing the Up 3, it will collect data such as sleep data and workout monitoring. The Smart Coach app will help you focus on workouts that will achieve your fitness goals. It has a week long battery and water resistance up to 10 meters. It will be available for $179.99 from Apple, Best Buy and of course Jawbone’s online store.
The Up Move is a money clip looking accessory that will bring you more basic data than the Up 3. The clip-on wearable tracks steps, activity and sleep. It has a hidden LCD display which activates when you press it. The display offers progress on the goals you set. It will also have access to the Smart Coach app similarly to the Up 3. Battery life on this tracker is up to 6 months thanks to a replaceable battery similar to those used in normal wristwatches. The Up Move is a lesser expensive option at $49.99.
Both the Up 3 and Up move will be available for purchase later this month.
