AT&T S4 owners: it’s time to start checking for the latest OTA. Rolling out today, this update will bring Galaxy Gear compatibility to the handset. The update also allows for dragging and dropping apps to the trash for uninstall/disable.
So far on AT&T, S3 and Mega users have received an update for Gear compatibility. No official word on any updates for other Samsung devices. I’m sure more are coming down the pipe. It should go without saying the Note 3 is also compatible.
If you are in the market for the Gear, it’s time to start hitting that check for updates button. It is recommended you have better than 50% battery life (as always, more is better) before you begin the installation process. For more information please visit www.att.com/softwareupdates.
