For those of you sitting patiently waiting to flash the shiney new Ubuntu Phone OS to your trusty Glasaxy Nexus devices, you can stop checking the device section on the Ubuntu website. I have been informed that the images will not be released before the end of CES next week. Even after CES it may be another week or two before images are released.
The Canonical developers are using the additional time to work on the OS hoping to deliver the first release in a better state than it sits currently.
