Further transparency from Jason Mackenzie is a good thing. The president took to Twitter tonight to announce T-Mobile is on track with their plans to update the HTC One. HTC is obviously working very hard to keep their latest flagship up to date.
Having an official announce every update is awesome. There is no question to us when our updates are coming. News like this helps keep the unrest we all see on various social networks to a minimum.
The news came with a stipulation: “barring some last second issue”, however HTC has held true to their promise to keep the One as up to date as possible. The rapid updates straight from launch to support carrier variant issues was great. Then updating the international handsets to 4.2.2 was amazing. Now the 4.3 releases rolling out to the United States carriers further demonstrates HTC’s commitment to their customer.
This commitment is something they need to show customers. If they fail to prove their handsets are the number one choice, the OEM will be in even more serious trouble than they are now. This would not be good news for anyone.
When we receive further information about the update, we’ll be sure to post an update. It will either be an update to this post or a further stand alone post. Stay tuned for more details.

Just a heads up that we are still on track (barring some last second issue) to update your T-Mobile One with 4.3 by mid next week.
