With smartphone becoming increasingly bigger HTC think that giving you a much smaller device to actually use would be better!
So HTC’s thinking put simply is this, Keep your all singing and dancing 5 inch butterfly smartphone in your pocket and pull out a much smaller “candy style” phone!
HTC are now going to bundle a HTC Mini with the Butterfly in China. HTC thinking is that giving you a second, more slimmed down handset to actually use is a better alternative to shrinking down its top-flight Android phones. The Mini pairs up with the Butterfly via NFC, after which Bluetooth takes over to display all your text messages, notifications, calendar entries, and much more. It doesn’t stop there, you can even place voice calls with the Mini, relegating your primary handset and its fantastic display to your pocket or bag.
So now carrying two phones is better!
Sorry but I just don’t get the logic behind this, are we now taking about a companion device.
Two phones in your pockets, two phones to charge, with the mini not having a sim, if your butterfly dies on you then the mini becomes useless.
Now if it was a 7 inch 3G tablet with a mini phone linked to it I could understand, but not a two phones.
Would not have been better to link it to a watch, remember the S-pebble!
