When HTC launched their 2013 flagship handset, the HTC One, back in March of this year there was a huge buzz around how great it looked. The handset was the first of its kind due to the fact that it was made from an all metal body. Though at time of launch the HTC One was available only in “Glacial Silver” this would only last a few weeks as HTC decided to launch a “Stealth Black” edition of the handset which doubled up as the colour of the Developer Edition.
At the end of June HTC had decided to launch the handset in a new colour variant “Glamour Red” that had many people signing the popular “Lady in Red” song by Chris de Burgh.
With the handset now available in Silver, Black and Red rumours were starting to surface that this wouldn’t be the end of the colour changes for what was fast becoming the Chameleon of the HTC family.
At the start of August I published news that a blue variant of the handset was inbound however it took till 6 days ago for the rumour to turn into reality when HTC added a 4th colour variant, the HTC One in “Vivid Blue”.
Today, the HTC Chameleon just added another colour to its colour chart…
Introducing the HTC One in Metallic Blue, which can only be had if you buy it from Best Buy USA where an Exclusive deal has been signed by both companies.
Although looking at the handset you would say that it looks very much like the vivid blue, which was announced a few days ago, it’s safe to say that this is far from it with a darker colour of blue and a nice metallic sheen to it.
