Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 LTE will be available to Sprint customers beginning October 11, 2013. The device will be available through all of Sprint’s sales channels (read: both in stores and online, even by phone). If you’re in an area where the carrier has LTE coverage, and you don’t require the highest end tablet, this may be a great buy for you!
In an official announcement today, the US carrier announced the mid-sized tablet will be offered at a special introductory price. If you’re starting a new line or have an upgrade available, you will be able to pick up the Galaxy Tab 3 LTE for $49.99 with a two year contract. The announcement reads customers will be able to add it to their account for $5 per month.
The Galaxy Tab 3 LTE comes loaded with Android 4.2, running TouchWiz UI (of course). Cameras are 3 mega-pixel rear and 1.3 mega-pixel front shooters, respectively. Other specs include a dual core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB RAM and an 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024X 600.
