Jason Mackenzie just announced the 4.3 update is on it’s way to AT&T customers. Taking to twitter, the President of HTC America confirmed the update has passed AT&T’s certification process. Mackenzie stated the update will begin pushing out “early next week”.
Having been using a 4.3 based stock ROM on my AT&T HTC One, I can say most people will be quite pleased to receive the official OTA. This update will include the Nexus style settings in the notification pane, as well as settings to remove the new home button toggle we’ve all been asking for.
The new firmware will also improve video highlights. Additional themes will be added, as well as the ability to use your own music in a highlight reel. Seeing as these features are the core reason many of us purchased the AT&T HTC One, this will be a huge boost!
Keep on the lookout next week for your over the air update, and let us know when you begin receiving them!
