Transferring files from your device and computer, and vice versa was left to a few apps on Google’s Play Store. We know about FTP server and WiFi Explorer, which accomplishes the same goal in different ways. So why do we keep talking about something as simple as moving files around? Well the fact is that sometimes your files are somewhere else, and you need them on your device. Sometimes you want to share a file with your friends as well.
For well over a year now I’ve been using AirDroid to transfer from my Smartphone to PC but, with SendIt you can send to another Android device, iOS and PC. Unlike any other application all SendIt requires to work is the recipients phone number, (they get the link via text message), Nothing else.
You don’t need an account, they don’t need to have the app, you don’t need to be in the same location, they don’t even need to be on the same platform. but, the free app is limited to a file size of 10MB.
