Site Update:

Yakju, Yakjuwx, Yakjusx and now Takju coming with Jellybean?

If you are reading the subject of this post thinking “what the hell is this all about” then don’t worry, I was as confused as you until just a few weeks ago.

So… Yakju is Google’s very own build for the Galaxy nexus whereas Yakjuwx and Yakjusx are Samsung’s very own take on the software, but what is Takju and why is it emaybe coming with Android Jellybean (Android 5.x)?

Well, we never posted this when it first broke as new as I was admittedly (and simply) far too tired when I seen it.

A couple of weeks ago, we analyzed a crash log that referred to a mysterious Galaxy Nexus software profile called ‘takju’. It was completely unknown at the time what takju was, but we know that Google has been using it to test the next version of Android, referred to as "Jelly Bean" in the crash log.

The above excerpt comes from the source of this post, Android Police, and they have now discovered that the Takju version of the Galaxy Nexus is in fact the US GSM Version of the Galaxy Nexus that went on sale today for $399.

Now, with that being said, we know that the crash report was a device with that variation code and that it had Android Jellybean on there so the question being asked is, will the first device to carry the new Google OS be the US GSM Galaxy Nexus and if it is would you consider it fair?
