Emulation of games is one thing many people love and work has begun on an open-source high-performance emulator. And it is targeting
Android (as well as Linux/Mac/Win), and although not much works yet it is a promising start.
In the video you can see Puzzle Bobble working really
well on an Android handset, which smartphone’s are not the most powerful things in the world compared with desktop machines which can still suck at emulation so this looks to be very good.
If you want to give it a spin (don’t worry if not much works, the first commit on Github was 3 days ago) head to the download page.
It looks to be very good too, as the developer also co-founded another emulator called Dolphin which quite successfully runs Wii, Gamecube and Triforce games.
