The Taipei based company, ViewSonic, is creating a budget phone aimed at the US and Latin America markets.
The ViewPhone 3 features an 800MHz processor, 512MB ram, a 3.5 inch screen and a 5MP camera. It runs Android 2.3, and perhaps it’s oddest feature is it’s dual SIM slots.
The device will cost $250, and will be announced at CES next week. It should be available in March.
Whilst this isn’t the best device out there, the dual SIM is a good and rather much an unseen feature amongst Android devices. It is good to see other companies competing with other budget companies like ZTE and Huawei.
