Well, here is more progress and it’s swiftly moving on now with a video demonstration by the man himself. Their is still obviously lots of issues of course as it’s very early stages, but work is progressing.
The battery indicator shows that it needs to be plugged in, this is something that I experienced with my HP TouchPad with it’s early Alpha as well, so common issues that seemingly could be fixed and rectified in time.
Whether he can get the OpenGl support is another thing,but seen as the Nokia N9 uses the PowerVR SGX530 GPU and TI OMAP 3630 chipset that are also used in various Android handsets the mission is certainly possible here.
An early Alpha build is being promised to the masses of N9 owners who are excited by this, hell I might even go buy one myself now. Could the Nokia N9 be the Dual-Booting successor to the HTC HD2? It’s a possibility and something that many Android enthusiast will love. Nokia and Android working well…. Yes please.
