Three UK have sent word via Twitter that it is pushing out the 1.28.771.9 firmware update for it’s branded version of the HTC One X. This is the original OTA intended for the One X which started going out to unbranded handsets a couple of weeks ago. The newer 1.29 update emerged last night, so Three seem to be running a bit behind. Still faster than European networks usually turn around on newer firmware updates however.

Three UK wrote on it’s Twitter account that owners can look forward to improvements including increased battery life, which matches up with what  One X owners running the unbranded version of 1.28 have reported.
