This above is a Chinese knockoff/clone/copy device or whatever you want to call them, and you have to admit it looks pretty cool and exciting to the Android fan and enthusiast. As a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play owner and lover of Android gaming, I certainly do.
Now this impressed me and I would love for this to become a reality via Sony. Can I see it happening? No, unfortunately.
Here is what it is and a little info anyway to get you salivating at just the prospect of this kind of device.
It’s called the Droid X360 and from a company called Shenzhen Xunlong.
It’s pretty much a PS Vita running Android 4.0 with all kinds of potential.
Specs:
A10 processor 1.5GHz Prcoessor, 512MB RAM, 8G Internal storage, 5-inch 800 x 480 multi-point capacitive touchscreen, HDMI output, TF card expansion, MiniUSB expansion, 2MP rear facing camera. support for video calls, the PSP game appearance, built-in 2800 mA battery.
Sound okay? Not bad hey. It also has nine emulator systems built in and maybe you can run many an Android game as well with some tweaks that allow you to map keys with something like USB/BT Joystick Center 6.
No word on pricing or if you can ship it over here in Europe yet, but keep an eye on this one as it could be pretty cool to play with.
Unfortunately there’s no word on pricing yet, so keep your eyes peeled on your next trip to China.
