Motorola have released a statement saying about how some refurbished XOOM tablets still have previous users’ data on them.
Worry not, Motorola claim that about 100 of the 6200 WiFi only XOOMs sold between October and December 2011, that were resold by Woot.com. This is most likely to be caused by an improper wipe leaving some user data on the devices.
Motorola and Woot are offering a free two year subscription to Experian’s ProtectMyID Alert service to watch for any fraud that could occur to anyone who returned their Xoom between March and October.
