While the UK is still waiting for 4G, Samsung has confirmed the SGS3 will use the new DC-HSPA internet standard. DC-HSPA is the latest standard in 3G networking speeds allowing twice the download speed of regular HSPA used throughout the UK.
O2 have already rolled out a 5MB per second service in major cities. Vodafone have also implemented the new standard with a cap at 3.5MB per second. Other networks will follow throughout the year.
The Nokia Lumia 900 and new iPad can also make use of DC-HSPA. The HTC One X also has the standard, but can only support about 2.6MB per second.
