Samsung Galaxy S III – Unboxing (In Pictures)

Anyone who knows me, or follows me on twitter, will know exactly how excited I have been to receive this phone.  After massive delays, completely outside of my control, it is finally here!

As I write this, my phone is charging (which I always like to do with new phones before their first power up).

Below I will post a series of pictures, some will have comments some won’t, but…. enjoy!  There are already plenty of unboxing videos available hence my decision to do one in images.

The box is slightly larger than that of the S2, which is to be expected as it is a slightly larger phone.

As you can see in the above picture, Samsung have felt the need to give us lots of replacement buds for the earphones (which already have buds fitted themselves) – No idea why but they appear to come in two sizes with two different materials.

The battery door system is very similar to that of the s2, it is thin and plasticy however it does not feel as breakable as the s2 did, which afteral can only be a good thing.

Now this move surprised me, samsung have gone for the HTC method of dual usb/ac power where the power lead is also your USB cable.  It doesn’t bother me but after Samsung used conventional power leads for the s2 I thought they would do the same here.

Finally I leave you with a picture of my phone charging!  The phone comes with 50% charge already and I am told it takes about an hour to charge to full…

Please excuse the briefness of this article, however,  I have a phone to play with!

They are not replacement ear buds, they are actually different fittings. I had two extra sets of fittings with my SGSII and I found the smallest ones to fit best while the medium and large would just not fit me at all and fall out right away.

My bag has several the same size and shape, but yes there were others that were different fittings.
