So being such a big sponsor of the Olympics this year it was inevitable that Samsung were going to increase their promotional participation by releasing olympics themed phones. As well as releasing the “official phone of the Olympics” in the form of the Galaxy SIII, Samsung are also releasing special editions of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Y smart phones through O2. The handsets include limited edition back covers with either the Team GB lion logo or the Union Jack. Owners also get, a pair of tickets to an Olympics Games Event, a pair of tickets to the Team GB training camp in Loughborough on 6 July and a pair of tickets to the Team GB celebration event in London.
