NVidia have hit the mobile world in a big way and are bringing it on strong. The current CEOJ en-Hsun Huang has already laid out the companies intention to release a new version of it’s Tegra chips every year.
The next line to come is the Tegra 4, from the Tegra 3 already bringing Quad-Core, Tegra 4 will no doubt pack a punch. Well here now some new information has surfaced, although it is the dreaded rumoured source.
Chinese site VR-Zone is the source and they have an image that you can see below of the roadmap they have come by.
The alleged roadmap if to be believed reveals that their will be four different variants, x3 with Quad-Core ARM Cortex A15, ranging from clock speeds of 1.2-2.0GHz. The other is a little different, the other brings LTE integration and is called the "SP3X. This chip will have a A9 architecture.
Take this with a pinch of salt of course as it’s just a leaked source, but you can’t help but wonder what NVidia have up their sleeve. Something big and powerful no doubt, something boastful, something ground-breaking, maybe this source is a little short or lost.
You decide.
