Last week’s Samsung announcement at CES confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note is heading to AT&T. Now the rumour-mill is starting to spin with unconfirmed reports that the device may be heading to possibly three US carriers, including Verizon.
The 5.3-inch Galaxy Note is rather unique as is doesn’t easily fit within the established categories for smartphones or tablets, although this hasn’t prevented it’s increasing popularity.
The Verizon device may be rebranded as the Samsung “Galaxy Journal” according to an industry analyst, and the odds are in favour of 4G LTE capabilities for US variants. Although these are still rumours and are unconfirmed by Samsung or any carriers except AT&T, it’s a good bet that the Galaxy Note will land in the US in the near future with their own unique carrier-variant tweeks that we’ve come to expect.
