Isn’t it annoying enough when you open up an application on your smartphone and you see an add in the application. Now Google wants to put ads in your phone calls.
Let me explain, Google recently was awarded a patent that allows Google to place audio adverts in place of that boring old ringing tone you hear when making a call. So now when you sound out a call to someone and you’re waiting for them to pick up the phone you would here an advertisement from a company.
This is something that could hit your phones soon, as Google now is allowed to do it, but it seems a bit intrusive, and would be kind of frustrating. It just seems like a cheap way to get some quick cash although it may be effective to some degree. The company would make money depending on how long the other person took to pick up and how much of the ad played.
