REVIEW: Ten1 Pogo Sketch Stylus

I always wanted to try a stylus but never really saw the point if I’m perfectly honest as I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it. I have a HTC Flyer which obviously comes with the pen/stylus, so I don’t need one for that but it doesn’t in turn work with other gadgets on the odd occasion I need a stylus.

A big thank you to Mobile Fun for providing this accessory for review.

ANALYSIS

This stylus worked perfectly for me as I do a fair bit of doodling on my phone so this worked quite well for such uses. Took a while of using to figure out the right pressure to apply to create the right effects. The stylus also came in handy for using apps with finer details such as music sequencing/programming apps. Also this is as stated in the description quite easy to use with longer nails, I find a thicker stylus feels a bit too chunky and difficult to use with longer nails but this one if lightweight and slim enough to not be in the way at all.

There isn’t really a downside to this accessory, other than you need to get the pressure right every time or it doesn’t necessarily press first time but this is more down to user error I think, and will be rectified once used to using a stylus. One other little niggle is although the soft spongy tip is quite good and sensitive it appears to be a bit scruffier than when I first got it – but it still works as well so not a huge issue.

IN THE BOX

One Ten1 Pogo Sketch Stylus.

CONCLUSION

Overall I like this stylus. It’s very lightweight, yet feels quite durable and stable and isn’t too badly priced, and obviously a LOVELY bright pink in this case :)
