I know Samsung’s “Next Galaxy” phone is due to be revealed tomorrow, but we still can’t help sharing what we know (or think we know) about this device. We now have a major clue to the phone’s screen size and shape along with more confirmation that it will be called the Samsung Galaxy SIII.
A South Korean manufacturer by the name of Colorant has released a screen protector for the Galaxy S3 which confirms it’s size to be 4.8″. Compared to the Galaxy S2 (pictured) it is just a little bit wider, but considerably longer. This should mean that despite the screen real estate, it will still fit in smaller hands comfortably. It also has a cut-out for a physical home button, just like the international version of the S2.
Could this protector be intended for an International version, with the U.S. having to wait for a buttonless version? We’ll just have to wait a little bit longer to find out.
Looks like the Galaxy Nexus but I truly wish they would loose the home button, I know it has been a Samsung styling feature since the SGH-F700 but its getting old. By the way the SGH-F700 was launched well before the first iPhone, anyone notice a resemblance? Begs the question whom copied whom?
