Nexus 7 Was Supposed to Carry a Rear Facing Camera

Or So the teardown of the device says at least!

The guys over at XDA Developers have completed a teardown of the Nexus 7 revealing a space, which is obviously unused, where a camera should have been.

I guess the question is, do you Nexus 7 users really miss not having it? As a media based device I would assume that it’s needed but then I don’t use a tablet much for photo’s so I guess for me it’s less of a need.

I don’t miss it at all. In fact, I take comfort in the fact that no Nexus 7 user is going to be “that guy”, you know, the giant douche taking video with a huge display blocking half the field of view of everyone within 20 feet. You know the people, the ones with the iPads above their heads taking video. Don’t be “that guy”. Thank you Nexus 7.
