Today, the interwebs has been abuzz with something that Google said on their Wallet website. Google simply stated “We’re building a smarter wallet”. Google Wallet’s website also states that you can request an invite for the new version.
When you request an invite, you have the option to select either Android, iOS or other. This might mean that Google Wallet is branching out. But, as usual we’ll need to wait and see.
Of course I requested an invite, so we’ll let you guys know what we find out when the invite comes through.
In other news, Google also announced today that they will be working with Metro PCS to bring Google Wallet to their phones. According to CNET, Samsung Galaxy S III users can now download the Google Wallet app.
