By the sounds of it no one was expecting LG to announce a phone on the same day as Samsung’s big launch event, but guess what guys, they have. The LG Optimus LTE2 was announced by smasung’s Korean rival and does appear to be a bit of a doozy. We haven’t seen much of the spec yet but things featured include True HD IPS display, 2GB Ram (which we are yet to see in a smartphone), WPC backed wireless charging, Android 4.0 and a 2,150 mAh Battery which LG claims will increase the battery life by nearly 40%!
The LTE2 is due to arrive on three carriers in Korea sometime this month, nothing else has been revealed regarding pricing or additional countries at the moment. Following on from a huge launch day for Samsung could this be a decent bit of competition for the SIII?
