With Asus being very successful with their Transformer line, that had the optional keyboard dock that would transform the device into somewhat of a netbook, Lenovo thought they would take their chance of jumping into the same market. This device was originally shown off at CES this year and now it is officially here. The device will sell for $343 or $375 for the 16GB or 32GB storage option respectively and the dock will only cost you $56. This is significantly cheaper than the Transformer line of device, so Lenovo has an edge there but who has the edge in specs.
The S2110 has a 10.1″ IPS display that will show off Android 4.0 and will run on a dual-core s4 processor. The tablet is advertised with 10 hours of battery life and an additional 10 hours provided by the optional dock. The dock will also provide you with 2 full USB ports, and a SD card slot. The device will pack a 5MP camera on the back and 1.3MP camera on the front used for video chatting.
The specs are similar to the Transformer line except the Transformer line uses NVidia’s quad-core processor. This device is going to be a hit or miss device. Has Asus already taken the market for these or is there still room for a competitor?
