ICS Going Out to O2 UK Galaxy S II

O2 ICECREAMSANDWICH

Well recently there have been ICS announcements for Samsung Galaxy S II owners on various European carriers, and today is no different. O2 UK is now pushing out the ICS Updatefor the Samsung Galaxy S II, well ahead of their scheduled deployment of mid-April. In order to get the Update it seems you’ll need to use Samsung Kies, but that is a relatively painless process. Here’s hoping the rest of the world receives official ICS from Samsung soon.

Thanks a lot, Samsung… Thanks for all your phones… Do note that you have forgotten about all your loyal customers who payed the full amount to buy an unlocked Samsung phone, by delaying the ICS upgrade for them… Good luck with your future phones and may god bless you all… A farewell post from a fan…. :(

What does OTA mean?  Oh and do you use Samsung Kies with a USB cable to move data between a phone and a computer?  I dont think I will waste my time with this site again.  Whats the point?

Is there a problem with the site? OTA means Over the Air – an update that will download direct to your handset and install whereas KIES is a point to point update that will require you to sync your phone with the software to update.

        Yeah.  Think about it.

If you don’t tell us the problem it’s almost impossible to fix it?

lol.  Its staring you in the face.  Apparently you are the problem.

Maybe you were correct, it’s probably best if you don’t waste your time with this site again. We do this for the community and sadly will never be able to please everyone however we do thank you for taking the time to post to the site and visit it in the firstplace.
