Over at PocketNow it seems they always get the first shots, they don’t stop either as they have got the “first test photos of 5 smartphones and a tablet”. Mobile World Congress is nearly upon us and the excitement is building every day it draws closer, the anticipation is now gathering with more leaks coming out out into the wild.
HTC is planning a plethora of devices and it has some redeeming to do this year after slipping in the past 12 months behind the competitors. The test photos shown don’t give much away really, but it’s nice all the same to get some information, which I’m also sure we will see more of anyway leading up to MWC.
HTC Vertex (Quattro)
Now the details of the HTC Endeavour have pretty much been confirmed via the RUU and source leaks, but what about the others? Well let’s go through some of the rumooured specs shall we that is floating about.
HTC Ville: Snapdragon Series 4 processor with two cores running at 1.5GHz, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution, and a 1080p-capable 8MP camera. All running Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0 with Beats Audio. Also it’ll be a global handset.
Not forgetting the HTC Ville leaked video – YouTube Link
HTC Vertex (Quattro): 10.1-inch Tablet with a 1280 x 768 resolution, AP30 Tegra 3 Processor, 1GB Ram, Internal storage looking to be 16GB plus microSD expandable, Bluetooth 4.0, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Beats Audio, and running Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 interface likely. One thing that is different is what’s tipped for the camera set-up, on the rear only 2MP camera, HD of course, the front will house a 1.3MP 720p HD camera, to be honest i never see the point in top cameras in Tablets anyway
A HD version of HTC Watch movie store could also be seen, along also with the HTC Scribe Pen technology. Both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi-plus-3G variants are being touted on which could be a major Tablet player in the big boy league of Android Tablets.
HTC Fireball: Not much is known too much about the Fireball, it has been thought to be a Verizon 4G LTE handset though and running Android.
HTC Totem (Tahiti): I’m afraid i couldn’t find any information on this device apart from it’ll be on AT&T. Anymore details we get we will update.
HTC Evita: Again no information really. What is thought is that it’ll be running a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 720p display, and LTE capabilities.
HTC Endeavour: Well, it’s all been leaked and confirmed pretty much already. Check out the details here – HTC Endeavour specs and details.
