I know it’s an odd sounding name but following on from their recent success with the One series and the revamped Desire C/V it looks like HTC’s next smart phone will be the HTC Proto. The device will follow on from the recently revamped Desire series. Although no dates or pricing for the device have been revealed yet it is rumoured to be in a budget range, which we like as long as the handset isn’t too bad! Specifications look like this so far:
- 1Ghz dual-core processors
- 4 inches WVGA display
- 768MB of RAM
- Storage of 4GB (compatible microSD)
- 1650mAh battery
Not bad for a device designed to be a budget handset, depending what version of the Android OS this bad boy runs it shouldn’t be a bad little handset.
