I don’t know about any one else but I’m a little bit annoyed that my Shiny new HTC One X now no longer has the newest version of Android. Obviously this isn’t HTC’s fault but what does the Taiwainese manufacturer intend to do about this?
“We are excited about Android Jelly Bean and are planning to support it across a variety of our devices. We are reviewing the software to determine our upgrade plans and schedule, so please stay tuned for more updates on specific device upgrade plans.”
So it looks like they are as keen as us to get Jelly Bean out there on our phones too. At this stage no one can say which handsets will get it or how long it will take but I imagine the HTC One series is a shoe-in to be soon especially with new handsets guaranteed to be snapping up Android 4.1. Although we can guarantee you won’t get any of the Easter egg fun - read here, as apparently HTC don’t include this little bit of fun in their ROMs, BOO!
