Over at MoDaCo and thanks to it’s main man and founder Paul O’Brien we have some confirmed details from his source about the HTC Endeavour.
With MWC around the corner HTC need to make a mark and with the HTC Endeavour coming to be it’s flagship device there they need to make a impact.
Paul has received some news for his source and this confirms that it will be a Ice Cream Sandwich device running it’s own Sense 4.0 overlay, not to some peoples taste but it will please a lot of other sense lovers. Hardware wise it will house a 4.7” 720p screen, 8MP Rear camera, 1.3MP Front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The big things are this though.
1, It’s going to be a HSPA+ Quad-Band phone, so it’ll be worldwide people.
2, It’s going to be Nvidia running the show with it’s Tegra 3, see you later Qualcomm then for HTC and they are broadening themselves out to other options.
This maybe a good move for HTC in some aspects to broaden their horizons with new and varied suppliers with hardware, but then again maybe not, Nvidia haven’t been the best in providing source and support for devices they have provided chipsets too. LG namely and last years Smartphones providing issues for many developers.
