Verizon may be the largest mobile career in the US at the moment but some of it’s customers may be starting to feel let down. Neither the One X or the One S will ever be available on the network – if we listen to rumour. Verizon’s flagship HTC device looks like it will be the Droid Incredible 4G LTE as opposed to one it’s more impressive counterparts.
Although most knew it was coming the Incredible 4g LTE was officially unveiled today. Featuring a 4 inch super LCD qHD display and powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, the handset looks to be coming out for release in the next couple of weeks.
The display and chipset are fairly decent and would probably satisfy some who don’t mind the best raw performance however it looks like it isn’t going to come anywhere near the One X or S in terms of speed and image reproduction.
Other features include an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, front facing camera, 1,700 mAh removable battery, 4G LTE connectivity and a microSD card slot. Fairly standard to be honest and nothing AMAZINGLY ground breaking alas. The handset will also run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich alongside Sense 4.0 UI.
Despite claims that beats audio was no longer to be included on HTC handsets this device along with many other new announcements does include it still.
No prices have been confirmed for definite and the closes to a date is “in the next coming weeks”. Either way I think this is a bit of a mid table handset and pretty standard compared to what’s being release at the moment.
