[Game Review] Heaven & Hell

heaven

Heaven and Hell is a simplistic physics based game in which you change the shapes of the Angels and Demons to collect the diamonds, and knock the demons off the platforms into the flames below.

In this game there are 4 worlds, and 80 levels in which you will have to clear the level of demons, and collect all three diamonds.

Heaven and Hell is a very fun game and can keep you busy for quite a while. When you first start to play the game you think it is really easy, but as the game progresses you need to use your logic, and basic physics to figure out how to knock off the demons, without losing the angels. Just when you think you’ve done it, you realize you didn’t collect all three diamonds. The game is a thinking game and you will have to really problem solve to complete some levels.

In the game you will be able to control both the Angels and Demons by clicking on them to morph into a circle, to roll around, or back into a square. Throughout the game you will have to remove blocks to make a pathway to the diamonds, use teleporters, and watch out for electric fields.

What I like about the game is, it is simple, but still makes you think a little bit about your next move because one wrong move and the whole level is screwed up. The characters and the whole premise behind the game is very good, and the developer did a great job designing each level.

Things I don’t like about this game are that whilst 80 levels may seem like a lot, it is over too quickly. I wish there were more levels to enjoy.

For anyone who isn’t a huge gamer, and just like to play quick short games, with an Angry Birds like design this is the game for you.

I would rate this game: 4/5 and recommend it to everyone.

About Tyler Maciaszek

I started out as a Blackberry user and once that phone was stolen I went to Radio Shack looking at the HD2. Blackberry wasn't cutting it and admittedly I didn't know much about technology, or Android at that point so I looked at the phone with the biggest screen. I'm a media guy and I like to have it mobile. At that point the HD2 had a massive screen and that's exactly what I wanted. Immediately when I got there the manager talked me out of getting a windows device and talked me into Android. I didn't know much about CPUs, Android versions, or what a good spec sheet even looked like. I settled with the Samsung Sidekick and immediately began to hate Android. Probably from the ugly skin and the terrible specs that device had. I started looking how to make the device better and found XDA. That's when it all changed. I started learning about rooting, and flashing. From there I would go on to come across Android websites. How I found Land of Droid was through Twitter. I used #android once and John mentioned me asking if I would like to write for an Android blog. I was hesitant at first but I began to immediately love it. I am now a huge technology fan in all aspects not just mobile. Now when looking for a device I will now know that there are more to specs than a screen size.
