Falcon is a powerful *WIDGET* that brings a full Twitter client to your homescreen. Having been in beta for what seems like a lifetime, it has finally shook off the beta tag.
Having had a few teething problems along the way, well it was in beta, remember. I remember having problems with version 0.3.5 but a quick email to Joaquim Vergès, the developer, soon had me back on track with a response in about 30 minutes.
Open web pages (internal browser), pictures, videos and replies from any tweet in one tap – Fastest access to content ever !
This is a super smooth widget give quite a choice of setting including:
- Tweet, Retweet a*nd reply from the widget or the popups
- User profiles, follow, DM or tweet them
- Direct Messages
- Favorites
- Lists
- Search
- Expandable notifications for mentions in real time
- Open any other Twitter app from the widget
- Customize your Widget :
- 4 Themes
- List or Grid Layout
- Color pickers for text and links

Works really well, just wish more than 100 tweets could be loaded when refreshing?
However, I still prefer using the Plume app if I am catching up with tweets in bulk, which leads to an issue of timeline placement between the two apps. It’s my only major complaint with Falcon, otherwise it’s handily the best Twitter widget available.
