CyanogenMod Introduces Cid Into Their New Boot Animation

The CyanogenMod team have released a nice little new boot animation, and this time folks it features Cid!

It was tweeted just now by Steve Kondik himself and stuck on their Google + page as well, and is now uploaded onto YouTube of course. It shows off the new custom boot animation for the new CM9’s builds made by Cameron Behzadpour. These CM9 builds are slowly coming through now and over the coming months I think we will be seeing Cid a lot more. As I said before it now features the new mascot, Cid, this is a very nice iteration of the CM9 boot animation, although it pretty much just replaces the old Andy mascot on the skateboard with Cid instead looking angry as ever.

Missing Andy? Well I’m sure you can always go back and choose that particular Andy featuring CM7 or premature CM9 Andy boot animation, but now is a new era and the era is of Cid. Embrace it people as CM9 is here and will be spreading soon.
