Being an ex-gamer and someone who used to run a Lan Gaming centre I played Counterstrike for many years at a competitive level. I loved it and still would love to go back to a massive CS Lan match with my old fellow gamers.
So any Counterstrike gamers out there who loved and lived it will be loving this as much as i do. Yes that’s right a port has been made to play Counterstrike on Android.
It is the mobile version of Counter Strike 1.6 powered by Unity 3D. More than 600 players online! Also you can play web version using your browser. Made by russian 4pda community
5o version works on Android 2.0+ (but not ICS), ARMv6+, GL 1.0+
6p version works on Android 2.3+, ARMv7, GL 1.0+
There’s also a PC HD version to download to play within the web if you like with the Unity plugin. But at Land of Droid and us old school gamers it’s a nice nostalgia trip to get CS on Android.
It’s early doors and fixes are being made along the way. For full details head on over to the XDA Developers Forum thread below to get the download links and features.
Alternative download mirrors will be provided asap by Land of Droid as some people seem to be having issues. Once we get all the files and upload them they will be up.
Here below is 3 videos of it in action with the 5o version, 6p version and also it working on a tablet with a PS3 controller being used via Sixaxis Controller. You can get instructions on configuring it all up here with this link – Sixaxis Controller Set Up Instructions.
