The Carbon Twitter client has been widely appreciated across the WebOS platform and has also migrated across to Windows Phone. There have been rumours for a few months about a Carbon for Android app which was confirmed on Dots and Lines – developers for Carbon for Android - Google Plus account today. The app loos to be ready for launch on the 22nd of July and will be free. Don’t worry guys it isn’t ad-supported either as that would just be annoying! Quite a surprise the app is free as it currently costs $1.99 on the Windows Marketplace. With many good Twitter clients available at the moment such as Boid, Plume, TweetDeck and Seeismic it will be interesting to see how Carbon are planning on trumping the market.
