Canada’s Samsung Galaxy SIII Confirmed with a Dual-Core and 2GB of RAM

Samsung has just announced that their Samsung Galaxy S III will come soon. Thankfully “soon” is actually around June 20th. The Samsung Galaxy S III is expected to be available to all Canadian carriers. Quad-core processors seem to be out of the picture so this device will be enabled with a dual-core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. To make up for what some might call a disappointment, they equip the device with 2GB of RAM. If you do not know, RAM is regarded as the memory of a computer (in this case a phone). The more RAM you have, the faster the device will feel. The Samsung Galaxy S III’s coming to Canada gives a hint at what country might be coming next. The US release of this device will most likely have similar specs but tradition shows that the phones are given a new look. TELUS is offering the 16GB Galaxy for $159.99 and the 32GB for $209.99. It seems that the LTE version (SGH-i747) will be available for Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless, SaskTel, TELUS and Virgin Mobile. The HSPA version (SGH-iT999) will be available for Mobilicity, Wind or Videotron. Here’s an elaboration on the specs:

Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Chipset
