Site Update:

Are These The LG Nexus Press Renders?

Let’s face it, we’ve seen a lot of the LG Nexus 4 recently. We’ve gotten some leaked specs here and there and an image or two. But these images that have been floating around the internet are interesting because they appear to be Press Renders of the LG Nexus 4.

From first glance, you see the unique backing, the LG logo on the back, and the camera in the right place as well. You also see a big Nexus logo on the back. Phandroid also noticed the two temperatures in the notification bar, which they state is “weird and redundant”, which it totally is. That’s why some people are also commenting that the 92 may also be a battery status, since it does in fact look different than the notification for the weather. You’ve also got a centered clock, which is different.

On this next photo, you see an angled shot. In this shot, the notification bar has significantly changed.

The clock is no longer centered, and you don’t see the temperature. This is very strange to me.

Keep in mind that people haven’t been playing nice with all of the rumors and pranks that they’ve been playing recently. We’ll chalk this one up to a rumor until October 29, but this one is a very interesting rumor, since this is the first time we’ve seen “Press Renders”. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m excited to see what Google has in store for us on that date. It will finally put all these rumors and leaks to rest!

The name is Christina. I'm an Android and Google enthusiast. Working on an IT major, and hope to join the ever-growing technology world. I go to school online, and I love the freedom that it gives me. I work at Best Buy as a Mobile Phones Sales Consultant. It has been an awesome experience, and I really love working there. I currently own a Note II, I used to have a Galaxy Nexus, but I decided to be nice and I gave it to my sister. I recently purchased a Nexus 7, and I want to grab a Nexus 4 and a Nexus 10 when I win the lottery.

Along with all that stuff on the back, most phones don’t have it.

The first screenshots are definitely running the AOKP ROM. Not sure how a Press Shot would ever have that on there. I’m thinking these are fakes all over again.
