Charge bar is a relatively new app which is similar to many application’s version of a battery widget. With 10,000 downloads and growing this is looking to be a promising new comer to the android market. This works on ANY android phone with any ROM or whether it’s rooted or not.
The picture top right shows the battery bar; although it is very un-noticable there is a small blue line at the top of the screen. This decreases throughout the day as the battery is used. With sliders to set the battery status levels i.e. blue for over 50% red for under this should be an easy process. The only problem with this is the sliders don’t change percentage whilst moving, only once stopped so is sometimes difficult to set the exact amount you want.
This bar can be hidden in full screen apps, lock screen and you can have a reminder set in the notification bar. Personally it is so small I have it turned on for everything as is very un-intrusive. App does what is written on the label (so to speak) and it does it fairly well, not an essential app to have but I personally find it useful so far.
