Android Mini Collectibles – These are three words that make any Android fan wish they had lots of money.
What Are They?
Created by artist Andrew Bell and licensed by Google, the Android Mini Collectibles range of plastic toys are amongst the most collected Android merchandise available and they have recently released their third series.
Where Can I Get Them & For How Much?
To say I spent hours looking for the cheapest in the UK would be an understatement however I did get there in the end and found that the cheapest retailer of these in the UK was My Gadget Tree at just £119.99 for a full case or £8.99 for a Blind Box.
What’s Changed Since Series 2?
Series 2 of the Android Mini Collectibles had a lot of minor inconsistent paint issues however this looks to have been worked on in Series 3 as the duplicates I have of Whoogle The Owl and Nexus look pretty much exact replicas of each other.
Probably the best part of series 3 is that it’s now a lot harder if not impossible to locate the rarer ones in the boxes preventing retailers from picking out the good ones and selling them on as individuals for a lot more money.
Collectible? Just How Collectible?
Inside a box of 16 you can expect to find 13 different designs. 3 duplicates and one rare. Although there is just one rare it is safe to say that this full series is rare due to the fact that there was just one production run.
