We all agree that Android 4.0 looks great right? well now you can have the look on your Linux machine thanks to tmari0 over at Deviant Art.
So how do you get this working then? Read past the break….
Step 1: Download, extract the ICS Roboto font and install it.
Step 2: Install the Gnome Tweak Tool.
Step 3: Install the User-Theme GNOME Shell extension by entering the following commands in the Terminal.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/gnome3 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme
Step 4: Hit ALT + F2, type R, followed by ENTER or simply log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
Step 5: Launch the Gnome Tweak Tool and turn on “User Theme Extensions”, from Shell Extensions section.
Step 6: Download and extract the ICS Shell GNOME Shell theme to Home/Username/.Themes folder(create the directory if there is none).
Step 7: Launch the Gnome Tweak Tool and select the “Ice Cream Shell”.
The below screenshots display the UI changes that will be implemented after the installation of the Ice Cream Shell.
And there you have it, your machine now looks great wearing it’s new Ice Cream Sandwich clothes
