The Amazon Kindle Fire has been a hot item the past few months since it’s release, and the online retailer has been quick so far about making updates. Unfortunately each of those changes breaks root, and this latest one, firmware version 6.2.2, is no different. While root will undoubtedly be achieved again soon, this new update does bring about a nice feature – full-screen browsing. You can manually download the update from XDA, or update your Kindle Fire via the typical process – Settings > Device > Update.
