does anyone had a bug with the graphics?

  • Trevoire520

I’m having trouble with this, can anyone help? Once I’ve moved the files I just get a black screen when I launch the Sonic app.

I’ve downloaded the files and moved them into Android/data/com.sega.soniccd/files

    Data.rsdk, SGame.bin, Version.txt and 20111225205149_Data.rsk are in this folder.
The MP4 files are in the video folder contained within this folder.

I’m using a Zenithink Zepad tablet. Android version 2.3.4. MID reference number b01ref.

Can someone please help. I’m getting pretty annoyed with this. Could someone even just check which files are where on their system to make sure I’ve got it right?

AAs long as you drop the zip into the data folder, unzip it and then delete it you should be good to go

put com.sega.soniccd file in C:androidSDKtools   double click on this file/create another one inside with same name [com.sega.soniccd],and put all files inside new folder.Open command prompt,[cmd],and type:             cd C:androidSDKtools     then type :adb push com.sega.soniccd  /sdcard/android/data/
now install soniccd.apk !!!!   this is what worked for me,but you need Android Debug Bridge installed and running !

Finally got it up and running after more than a week.  Thank you for the data download,  Just went into com.sega in Android>Data and dropped the files in.  Samsung Nexus S

  • Ray

I’m using an Xperia Play, and I’ve placed the com.sega file in what I thought was the appropriate directory, but the game still prompts me to download the game files when I attempt to start it up.

    • Anonymous

Did you drop and unpack the files into the data folder?

  • Lagunaseka

Hi, I have downloaded Sonic CD from the Android market, I have a LG Optimus 3D running android 2.2.2.

I copied the files from here and went to com.sega in Android>Data and dropped the files in, it still doesn’t work, prompting me to download the data when I open the app.

Any ideas? it’s doing my nut

  • Lagunaseka

Quick update, I have the LG optimus 3D, android 2.2.2

I downloaded the above file, copy and pasted it into Android> data> com.sega.soniccd> files> in the files folder is a folder labelled video and data.rsdk

    Looks like this:

    Video
    data.rsdk
    com.sega.soniccd.rar

Still doesnt work? please help, this is doing my crust!

    • Anonymous

Paste just into the data folder, don’t go any deeper or it wont work.

      John

      • Lagunaseka

Tried that, still doesn’t work, I open the app and it says it needs to download 270mb of data to run, this is after pasting com.sega.soniccd.rar into Android> data

        nightmare!

        • Anonymous

when you pasted did you remember to unzip?

          • Lagunaseka

It didn’t download from this site as a .zip file, I downloaded it as it is and simply pasted it in, that is probably the issue, how do I unzip it?
Yes, i’m not great on computers….

          • Lagunaseka

Ok, I got winzip and have unzipped the files, it now shows 10 different files, do I just put these in a new folder and just paste in Android>data?

          • Lagunaseka

Yes! got it sorted…..for all those struggling here is my guide:

Download above file, copy and paste into Android> data, once there unpack files to “this location”

            Works a treat

  • Gilygone

best way to push files to your phone is to download AndroidSDK and install adb tool :

sooooo ,…  easy ,, now i’m playin’ SonicCD like Mad …     lol !!!!!!

  • Gilygone

*The adb tool has moved to platform-tools/

If you don’t see this directory in your SDK,
launch the SDK and AVD Manager (execute the android tool)
    and install “Android SDK Platform-tools”

Please also update your PATH environment variable to
include the platform-tools/ directory, so you can
    execute adb from any location.

also you need Java installed :

    download Java :

Okay so I dropped it into the android/data folder and when i launch game from the icon, it says IT STILL NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD THE FILES!!!  I can’t believe this is such a pain in the ass to get a fucking game working on this HTC Wildfire!!!  I am pissed that I paid my hard earned money on this and all I am getting out of it is grief and stress.  I am going to fucking download some pirated SEGA games so I feel like I got my moneys worth!!!  Fuck you SEGA.

      from this file?

  • Levisimpson41

I have a samsung GSll Ace,downloading the files needed though my wifi…the game launches but after the sega logo all I get is a black screen, the game can still be heard running in the background but i can’t see nothing… so I’m forced to blindly press my way to the intro cut scene, after that…the game starts with the screen remaining black but the music and sfx still play :(
