Sony’s rather bizarre tablet, the dual screened Tablet P, is now a available in the UK. The 3G equipped version is available in Dixons for a grand total of £499.99.
The device features a two 5.5 inch screens in a clamshell style with a resolution of 1024 by 480 pixels, dual-core Tegra 2, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage for all those apps.
It runs Honeycomb 3.2, hopefully with Ice Cream Sandwich on the way to the device. It also features a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera.
In a somewhat strange way, I quite like the device. It’s different to all the other devices, which makes it more attractive. Although with the Transformer Prime, Ice Cream Sandwich and Tegra 3 just around the corner, and despite it’s quirkiness, is it too late?
