Following the frankly rather stupid sale ban in Germany thanks to Apple’s preliminary injunction, Samsung has edited the Galaxy Tab 10.1 slightly so the device does not infringe Apple’s designs.
Above (complete with massive reflection) is the updated Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which now has an ‘N’ added on to the 10.1 to make it the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N. If you can’t see what has changed, look at the bezel. It is now much wider than it is on the normal 10.1. Also in the bezel are speaker holes on the front.
Apple did say that the bezel was the main reason why the 10.1 and the iPad 2 could somehow be confused. In the product description of the item on the German website Cyberport, it says that the Galaxy Tab is back.
It’s good that Samsung have not just given up and are being resilient and continuing to persevere with their Tab 10.1.
